Infinately better now a new landlord.Exellent choice of real ales and ciders and no longer that awful smell of dogs!!! Friendly staff and well worth a visit

changed hands in Sept 09, not quite so cosy but a good selection of beer/ciders but still full of youngsters geting wasted. Very lively with kareoke evenings etc and a good laugh if you want to party like its 1999... more businesslike but still good, landlord seems to have it sussed for the market.

A nice pint of butcombe straight from the barrel was well recieved but the pub itself just looks worn and tatty inside, 5/10

mummy I can't understand your review. I went it there for a drink last week and it was a great little pub. Very friendly couple running it, good beer, log fires and plenty of characters to talk to. what on earth happened to you that upset you so much?

a really digusting smelling pub, i cannot belive these people are let loose to run a pub, it smells of dogs urine the toilets are foul, the landlady looks 12 years old, i would not recommend a visit ever.

whoops correction , to my comments , beer was courage best , not directors .
|
last visit a couple of years ago , a small choice of beers , adnams which had just run out , tanglefoot or courage directors , locals friendly , but interior a bit spartan . ok
|
A very nice locals pub with a very chilled out atmosphere and the landlady seems to be partial to the odd game of darts with the customers. Not the biggest selection of ales but the ones they do sell are very nice. It still has two distinct areas. One with carpet and the other with a comedy floor that is not the smoothest and can be a bit tricky with your stability if youve had a couple too many.

Friendly village local. Lovely drop of scrumpy
|
Nice pub but sadly frequented by a lot of gas-heads.

An attractive friendly village pub where you can always be sure of a friendly welcome. No food available. Watch your head, the Duck or Grouse bar is so named for a reason. Yatton is located aproximately half way between Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare. If traveling on the A370 turn off either at Congesbury or Cleeve and follow the signs for Yatton. If travelling on the M5 take the Clevedon turn off (junction 20) and follow the signs for Yatton travelling on the B3133.
