Remembering my youth,a town center pub,was a great meeting place ,once the shopping had been done.Beer/Coffee/Food,what a nice treat.Unfortunately not today though,how sad..Grim and discerning the words i would use.You can,t stop change,but a least lets see it for the better.Have just read the pictorial history of the town center,my o my what a difference..Another one tpo bypass...

No Real Ale, but friendly enough town pub, 6/10

First pub in town with late license. Last owner made valiant attempt at re-styling as "nite spot" but unfortunately calibre of locals means slide back to town-centre boozer inevitable. Beer dodgy, food patchy, locals blue collar lip chewers. Not even Sky Sports to lessen the misery.

Bit rough and ready but not a bad place for a beer....in the evening.
