The foundry arms became my local in September 2012 and has only been the most fantastic place to go any time. The landlord and landlady have been busting their backs to get this place up to scratch and it is really becoming a wonderful place to be. I love this pub and will not be visiting any others so long as the doors remain open! Best Features: Lovely bar staff, excellent range of drinks, wonderful beer garden, child-friendly, low prices.

I dont know what the other people are going on about saying this is a rough pub yes it has had a few problems which you always get when a new landlord takes over but that has been sorted by getting rid of the idiots. The fact that all the bad comments are written by anon says enough takings are better than they have been for years and now there is a nice atmosphere in the pub.

This place is a doss hole. I'm male, and went in with a male mate about 2 months ago. Within and hour, the landlord was expecting us to but him drinks and then tried to palm me and my mate off with his wife - TO GO AND HAVE A THREESOME. He was DEADLY serious, and when we declined having sex with this pig (younger than him) he got quite offended.
Do yourself and favour and keep away. It's a really wierd, clicky place.

I knew the Landlady when she was a man called Michael. Before she changed her name to Barbie.
Joking aside, started off quite well, but have managed to alienate a large proportion of the locality.
Can usually be found gurning in a corner or fighting in the St.
After last nights performance, i suspect Xmas will be a nicer time without them.
PS. Whoose the skinny Scotish idiot glued to the fruit machine.
The best nights entertainment I've had in ages, particularly enjoyed the free blue flashing light show outside, which complemented the moody D.J,s music nicely.
If You're going to drink in there, You may need a STUNT DOUBLE to get out alive.

The couple running this will be very lucky if they're still there at christmas!They are not professional what so ever and play the regulars against each other like it's a big game-what on earth are they doing in the pub trade?!

Had a refurb in 2004 and now has a cosy decor. Had several managers working for some mad irishman called Declan who has now sold the pub to a small chain.
There's been a bald, ginger, moody and ugly managers but now under the new management there's a proper nice little blonde one who is friendly. A 7ft tall guy called Oscar does the pipes once a week too.
