Pleasant biker-friendly local in attractive village; beer was OK and wait for service was long, but would recommend a stop.

Reasonable two-bar village pub, on an odd-shaped corner site. Nothing special inside or out, but lots of posters around for local events and live music. Five real ales on, including John Smiths Cask and one from the Copper Dragon brewery.

Good beer. Fun atmosphere

Excellent quality real ales on (4 when I visited). Food is... variable - great cheeseburger, great steak pie, undercooked chunky chips and their idea of potato wedges is to quarter and deep fry a jacket spud! Also don't serve food on a Wednesday. Across the road from the pub there's the local tourist attraction - the historic remains of a sheep dip! Go figure.
