Back open again and things are looking up. Beer selection is the same as the previous owner - 2 ales from the Caledonian brewery (Deuchars IPA and a re-named Edinburgh Castle). Food was due to be re-introduced, but likely to be "chips with everything" The large(previously unused) restaurant has been re-fitted with a pool table and dart board, yet the rest of the pub retains a high end pub / foodie feel.

Just when the pub looked like it was doing well, it now seems shut.

The place looks a million miles away from how it used to look! Great food, great staff and great service. The food looks and tastes fantastic, even my kids enjoyed it. The recent refurb has done wonders. Thanks Becky

Neglected and now quite sad pub but plans have been passed for a refurb. Details available at Waverley council website....WA/2010/1271. Looks like a more food led pub is intended but not sure the parking is sufficent for that. Watching brief.

awful awful place, don't visit if you have more than 1 braincell

Now managed by "Bug-eyed" Bill (ex-The Crown, Knaphill) who has introduced live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Great place to see excellent local bands like Stealers Bluff and Six Miles Away.

Australian themed pub, bright & colourful. Friendly atmosphere. 1 pool table, darts and fruities. Widescreen plasma tv's: music videos & sport.
Wide selection of largers & bitters. Ales (bottled)and they have all the spirits under the sun. Wide selection of bar munchies but no food.
Large car park and Beer garden.
Bar staff are very friendly and always welcoming!

I love this pub. Around Farnham where i usually go all the pubs are old and the same with nothing new to offer. Yet when offered to go to the outback "bear and ragged staff" with my mate Ryan i reluctantly accepted thinking i would be doomed to a night of old people (being 18 myself) and nasty tasting lager. I went in and was actually very surprised, i mean after a few pints ill talk to anyone despite age race or sex yet it was full of interesting charachters. I met one of the barstaffs dogs and irlfriend and had a natter, watched the large plasma TV's, played a few songs on the jukebox and had a few games on the beautiful pool table. I would reccomend this pub to the young or old and have to say I LOVE IT!! and will defintly be going back. OTher people may have different views but in my opinion its the best pub in Farnham and ive been to pretty much all of em!
