This pub has now been new management for the last 12 months or so. The new manager has improved the pub no end, and it now has a an extensive breakfast, llunch and dinner menu very worth trying. Still has 2 screens and good beer. Great family pub with garden and kiddies area.

Conveniently on the bus routes from Farnham to Aldershot.

Now a great pub. Come and try it.

Unfortunately for the manager the food sales have declined so much here that the kitchen does not open on a daily basis anymore (every manager tries to re introduce food but it has never been a food pub). She still provides food for the pub pool and darts teams, and told me she still offers a buffet service.

They have also decided to get rid of sky as it was so expensive, but this has meant the owner is willing to spend some of that saving on other kinds of entertainment including more live music, and a new play area for the garden. Although this is yet to arrive, Kelly has asked the owner to pay for it to be fenced off, and therefore will be a dog free zone for the kiddies.

They are also going to introduce drinks offers, on mondays wednesdays and Saturdays, i can't remember the times though.

I read on another review site that Kelly has a really intimidating dog, and a puppy that goes to the toilet in the pub. The puppy is now house trained, and as for the bigger one, he's a rescue dog, and is not very brave. Kelly tells every new customer that they should ignore him if he barks and when he's ready he'll come to them. To be honest he's changed a lot since the puppy arrived and is so much braver than before. It was really great when I went in the other day and he came up to me for a stroke!!!

visited this pub when they had live music, great atmosphere, busy but competent bar staff so did not wait long for beer. They have now changed their selection of real ales so there is more variety than when I last visited. Also have late license which was a nice suprise!

This is a really lovely community pub, the staff are welcoming and friendly. Having just has a facelift - that's right it's no longer orange - it has a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The owners have provided a heated and covered patio area for the smokers, and there is also a large garden.
The manager has just started to sell lunchtime food and offers take aways, for closing time (burgers, chicken and chips).
Entertainment wise, karaoke still keeps the customers coming, and the manager really wants to push live music, so if you're in a band get a demo down there.
It's a biker friendly pub, and customers with dogs of the 4 legged variety are also welcome.

All in all well worth a visit!

Beware, newly painted garden furniture. Landlord unsympathetic about getting on your clothes.
