Yes, no sign of this pub's existence now. But there's a few ugly modern office-type buildings.

You need to delete this pub, as it has fallen over.

Well the ship has finally closed. Another interesting pub succumbs to the developers.

Re-opened with more experienced management. They are beginning to get more customers and will hopefully make it successful enough to survive the Waterside Development - be nice to leave the odd bit of character.

Shut down on 3rd January when the bailiffs were called in. The inevitable was hastened I guess. Goodbye to one of the last real pubs in town.

Good on a saturday night when they have live music, can get a bit squashed and hard to find seats, the young barman Aarons nice, not so sure about the land lord!

Indeed it truely is a local where if you are an outsider - let along under the age of 50 and a none smoker then you are not made welcome at all with the bar maid sat at the end of the bar finishing her conversation before bothering to look up at who walked in.
Very very smokey on a Friday night when we went and not that busy for 9.30, only redeeming feature was the Chris Evans lookalike who I assume was the landlord - very very funny individual.

Too smokey, but very friendly - the new landlord should be a comic, he's very funny and you can guarentee more entertainment if you buy him a drink or two.

Ah well if Mike goes in just before closing on a Saturdaywhat does he expect. The ship has never sold sold fosters so probably a different pub. This pub has been through some ups and downs. A new manager has managed to get some consistency to the three real ales supplied and the regulars make this a good boozer rather than a plastic palace, Dog friendly if you have a canine and people will always talk to you. Boisterous at times and quiet other times. Well worth a try if you fancy a true local.

Popped in a for a pint on Saturday night just before closing. They sell (the ubiquitous) London Pride and Adnams on draft plus assorted lagers such as Fosters. I'm sure the last time I was in, may be a year or two back, they only had nitro-keg beer for sale. Anyway the Pride wasn't bad, although it was served in a very hot glass and the barmaid made a mistake with the price. There were a dozen or so people, including a Charles Manson look-a-like and someone who could have been auditioning for ZZ Top. The benches outside overlook the very tranquil canal basin, unfortunately ten foot the other way is a noisy dual carriageway. It's just an average pub with nothing special to recommend it, if it did I'd go more often.

Good friendly pub. Years ago it used to have a circular pool table in one corner that you could rotate. Honestly!

A small lively pub with beer garden, situated next to the Grand Union Canal.
