I believe that this place is now closed.
Any updates?

Called in here for a beer during half term. Fine ales to be had but sadly we had a bus to catch. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

The hotel/b&b side of things is still under developed - but functioning if somewhat pricey for what you get. The place is a huge undertaking by the incumbent owners and is an ongoing project.
The pub part and food part are very good. It is not a tied pub so the beers are all independent and very well kept (the landlord used to own a brewery so knows his stuff). Recommended.

This is such a lovely pub. Forget talk of how it was in the old days, under its new owners it is now fabulous. Everything is top quality. The food and drink is absolutely top drawer and the service is fantastic. The decor, the atmosphere they have created, everything about it makes you want to go back again and again - and I have! If ever a family run business deserved to succeed, it's the Kings Arms in Kingsbridge. I cannot praise it highly enough.

Should be great when it reopens, taken over by small local brewry.

awful.....town, teen, family, tourist pub, real ales but not particularly good.

The food here is top notch and the staff are really friendly. The only problem on our visit was the slightly odd woman who got up and started singing (badly) into a karaoke machine which was bad enough but when the volume was cranked up to a level that made blood seep from our ears we decided we'd had enough and decamped to somewhere quieter! I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time so give it a try (the fish & chips make it worth it!)
