Nice pub situated on the huge Denbury green in the village of Denbury. Three good ales on and the food we had was of a high standard. Pub pleasant inside, my only complaint would be that that landlord was a miserable bugger, still worth a visit.
7/10

Food decent but very overpriced. Friendly enough barstaff and beer fine. Special occasions only for me in the future.

Went there for lunch today. Notice states no food until further notice! Didn't stop...

I take it samavery has conections with this pub seeming that she/he hasn't commented on any other pubs. Wasnt slagging the pub off, just purely making an observation that the menu was very similar. My wife and I have been to the yew tree a few times so It just jumped out at me. I certainly didnt slate the food as i never ate at your pub.

We Went in to Look at this pubs menu, then we thought we had seen this before. look at the yew tree inns. Marco pierre white pub. Its ok saying you trained under him but copying his menu is just plain wrong. Willys 100% choc and pierre koffman are just very non-original. If I want to eat marcos il go to marcos. Nice beer though

i hear the chef trainned under marco pierre white and in my opinion it shows the chef is amazing and puts alot of care into his food, taste texture & presentation is 100% top draw

A wonderful pub in the middle of nowhere. Very clean and comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing wrong at all with the real ale when I visited. Didn't try the food, but would love to go there for a Sunday roast, as I'd expect it to be perfect.

Beautiful ancient pub, situated right on village green. New Landlords (Christmas 2004): very friendly and enthusiastic. However they need someone to teach them how to keep real ale (Abbot; Otter; 6X; Bass). It's not up to scratch!
