A great pub. Under new management now, but continuing the "traditions" of the old ways. Decent beer, friendly staff and locals. Music gigs once a month, new regular Karaoke sessions, a quiz night on the first Thursday in every month, and a Busker's Evening every Sunday. Lots of new ideas for the future. Pleasant garden and smoking area, and a fish 'n' chip shop attached! What more could one want? Well recommended.

Pleasant pub in a rural setting. Obliging staff but very limited menu for Sunday Lunch.

THIS PUB IS NO LONGER CLOSED

Just heard that the Limeburners should re-open on the eighth of June, Hip Hip Hooray, rumour has it that re-opening should be heralded with a big bash, not sure what exactly but great to hear it has'nt been lost forever. Good Luck to all concerned!

The Limeburners was closed last year (2006) due to subsidence caused by heavy rainfall, its future is unknown but hopefully her days will not end on such a sad note, missed by many.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Becauce it is a free house it is in-expensive and very well looked after. I would highly recommend it to anyone who can get there.
