Had a swift pint of Greene King IPA last night. Also available was Exmoor Gold. Busy midweek but it always seems to be. For an Ember pub it is quite good.

fairly boring, inoffesensive pub, only decent if you're from knowle and know everyone in there....consistently slow service over the years and always have the heating turned up too high in the winter

Only half the 6 handpumps in use & not an inspired choice of ales. Eventually chose Old Hookey & was served 2 pints of Abbott! Beer fans would be best advised moving swiftly on top The Vaults (see Nick Worrall)

one of the mitchells and butler ember inn chain ,very friendly staff , good atmosphere , have 6 real ales on at a time , tried coach house flintlock today it was perfect . had sunday lunch which was great value and very tasty . will be back

Not worth going out of your way for but OK for locals. Food is quite cheap but not exciting. Modern decor inside. No garden to speak of.

Top notch now that it's over 21's
Food is ok but the range of beers is excellent.
