Reopened as a Spanish restaurant / tapas bar

Now Closed.

This bar has been renamed The Bar at The George, and is now a wine/cocktail bar which has live music in the week and a late license on weekends. It is a smart venue and was needed in the village to fill a gap.

this pub was the most popular in the village so popular in fact that a removal van with 60 riot police and dogs raced in mind you they did not drink much just smashed the place up and stole a bag of omo from the cleaner upstairs. full of characters in here all mostly wasted happy days hopefully it will be reopened sometime this century and i can start spending my dole checks in there again

Chalfont needs a good place to go, The Greyhound is way over priced, the poachers is a hole and village hall looks like the inside of a ship and three pigeons is miles away so hurry up!!!!!!!!!!
