This pub needs a massive overall. Dirty and the food is disgusting. Sandwiches served with stale bread and the cheddar was at least 3 weeks old and left unwrapped. Only 2 beers on pump. One was empty and the other was bad. Fantastic garden but definitely a pub to avoid.

Is this a house yet?

Nice Pub. Good food. Smoking area with a TV. Large rear garden with play area with bouncy castle etc for the kids.

not bad as an estate pub. does the beer quite well and pub grub you won't die from.
Great little pub in my honest opinion, brilliant fire, very cheeky smoking area (go & you'll see what I mean!) and a brilliant atmoshere for the rugby today (England vs. France, 2009 6 Nations)

Revisited the pub for the firework bonanza! What a pleasure - it was so proffessional it reminded me of Disney Florida! The Landlord sells the finest ales and its sooo cheap! Most recommended.

Recently visited this local pub whilst staying in village one sunday evening. I found the pub friendly and lively, a good range of beer, and nice atmosphere. there was also an excellent quiz which was very well run and most enjoyable to take part in, supposedly a well known local event!

Recommended. Had Sunday lunch here, food fine, beer excellent. Huge garden and amenities for the kids. Lady running the bar was very efficient and absolutely in control.
Went there today for lunch. Landlord's son behind the bar was extremely welcoming and good-humoured, as was his girlfriend the chef. Beyond me why people's even bother to make limited and pointless comments like 'garden is more like a farmyard' when a) it's a pub, not a park and b) the vast garden actually has something for everybody and is just a fabulous area for children, so allowing adults some peace. So there are a few chickens. Big deal, you misery! The landlord turned up later on and was also very pleasant and friendly. The menu is varied, the food excellent and reasonably priced for the huge portions you get. Loads of parking, big marquee pitched outside for functions. The London Pride and Adnams were faultless too.

The garden here is more like a farmyard its not nice.

Good old fashioned boozer. The beer is well kept and food nice. (Plentiful as well) The landlord can be a little grumpy, but I guess that adds to the appeal
What a great pub this is. Landlord and Customers most welcoming and the booze is great - something for everyone. A positive recommendation for the Summer and Winter alike! Excellent

This is probably the best "Pub" in Cranleigh. Nice open fire in the winter. Great garden in the summer. Food not too expensive. Nice Sunday roast. Good selection of beer. And they still put free nibbles on the bar...
could be described as a youth club in the garden every summer unfortunate for cranleigh that it has few, if any, better
