Service was abysmal, the barmaids who served me were both bloody rude and horrible. The Kronenburg tasted of gnats piss and made me feel ill for hours even though I only had half of it.it tasted like it was five years old skoll. No wonder it was cheap. The other punters were rude. Bloody horrible place.

Popped in here a few times recently when staying across the road on business, typical Spoons joint, lots of all day older punters with crutches and neck braces...are they a Spoons fashion statement or what...but you know, I actually really liked it...great beers and ciders at prices that must make the competition weep with envy...also decent good cheap pub grub served with grace and a smile. Will be back.

An improvement over All Bar One which was here before but a very middling JDW as previously described. Busy because it's cheap, as a result it attracts the old Wishing Well crowd who are all short of a bath.

reasonable price for a pint in london had a pint of abbot which was ok
|
Reborn last year as a middling Wetherspoons. The lowly aggregate rating of 3.6 betrays its former life as an All Bar One, nowadays you can at least get a decent pint.
|
Potted plants, lampshades, comfy chairs, extra vivid swirly carpets, art deco ambience. So not a typical Wetherspoons atmosphere ie no OAP's amd off duty postmen. Still the drinks are cheap as chips

Much improved compared to what it was like before. My only gripe is that 6 of the 10 hand-pumps were dispensing Greede Kerching IPA and Abbot and London Pride. The RCH Old Slug Porter was in excellent condition and the food was good for a 'Spoons. Get some more guest beers on please.

Has now re-opened as '' Devonshire House '' a JDW, 10 hand-pumps, going to check it out this evening.
|
Now close thank god. Ghastly overpriced chain, the only good point being the availability of Paulaner.
|
This is soon to reopen as a JDW.

It's like All Bar One. Boring.
|
What actually is the point of all bar ones??
|
There seemed to be more idiots in here than the usual ABO. I saw some tanked up prick hit a car with his lighter as he attempted to throw it across the road to his mates who were blocking the entrance and making no attempt to let people through. tits!
Best avoided unless you're a brain dead moron.

P*ss hole, yetthinks its a wonderful place. The all bar ones are all the same,Crap. With a customer base that is so up it selves. Awful, awful places

Walked in here at 12 noon on Saturday with a mate looking for something light to eat. After sitting down we were told that brunches were off as they didn't have all the ingredients. Now brunches are not difficult and there is a Tesco 200m away and a M&S 50m away. The place had about ten customers at the time and six staff, you would have thought the manager would have had the sense to send someone out for the eggs/sausages/mushrooms whatever? As there was nothing else my veggie mate fancied on the menu, we left and they lost about 30. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in this neck of the woods - might explain why it is empty though.

Walked up to the bar and could clearly see a choice from a selection of about 8 hand pumps. After coming to my senses and remembering that I was (a)happily hetrosexual and (b) with my lovely wife I ordered a pint of fizzy regulation lager from the barman. The 8 aforementioned sensitive types that were animatedly comparing hair products at the bar tutted me as I walked past - Hilarious! Douglas Adams would have stuck the entire population of Crouch End on a space ship you know!

utter pants, music always dreadful and the whole place lacks soul. Not helped by some of the most miserable managers and staff I've ever encountered Close it and open a 24 hour wicker shop

It's easy to criticise All Bar Ones, and I've happily done it many times myself. However, this one is actually pretty good: a good selection of drinks, fairly decent food, and comfortable, neutral surroundings. The prices are as you'd expect for this kind of bar, but if you can overcome these, it's not a bad place to spend a few hours.

Your usual All Bar One:
SHITE

This is a bit of a trendies pub but everytime I've been in there i've found it to be nice atmosphere, I even enjoyed watching two of the local tramps having a fight inside. They do food although I havn't tried i, they also have a very large selection of ales including wierd and wonderful european brews. Theres also a large selection of wines.
