This place is closed now and set to become a Day Nursery. I've lived in addlestone for 15 years and visited the pub once, which was one time to many. Sad to see pubs close but this place seemed to be doomed.

Delighted to see that The Woburn has re-opened-I hate to see pubs closing down. Called in at the weekend-not much sign of customers-I don't know what they can do to attract trade-beer at 2.70 a pint should help. Doom Bar,Directors and Fullers Seafarer on hand pump. We had the Doom Bar,which wasn't at its best, but we will return./

I was delighted to see Chris back in the area after his short tenure at the sorely missed Vine. Hopefully he will build up trade in what, hitherto, has been a woeful pub. Provided he can kep the beer in good order he will certainly get the patronage of my family as few of the pubs in Chertsey are worth a visit.

YES! Finally, I can once again drink in my "local". The pikeys have been sent packing. Chris the new manager wasn't around tonight, but his other half Jane was. She explained how the pub has been cleaned up. We are thrilled that our pub can be frequented by normal people once again.
As for ale, the Courage Best was in good order (and only 3 quid a pint) (they clean the pipes regularly) and I begged them to get something more exotic on which they will when the trade (read adults) start filtering back. I will be pacing the high st with my cheeseboard letting everyone know that we have reclaimed our pub. I couldn't be happier.

Never been a regular of the Woburn but Chris (the new Manager) was the last manager of the Vine which I used for more years than I care to admit. He did his best with the Vine until it was sold from under his feet. He will make the Woburn a great pub again if he gets the support. Entertainment from Chris on Saturday ...(great singer) and some karaoke thrown in for fun. See you there. Bar snacks and Sunday lunches. Pool. Good beer. Great bar staff. What more can you ask.

Not just under new but better management. All the major work has been done to the outside but inside still needs to be addressed. Bar staff are friendly but beer leaves a lot to be desired and is a bit on the expensive side. Wouldn't go out of my way to go there, would rather go to abbey moor golf club, the holly tree or the castle.

Went in after watching some Sunday morning football in the sports club next door and needed refreshment. (Thirsty work "Watching footbal!!"). Very disappointed as the only ale available was John Smiths (Ale??) and Courage Best ("Best" that they can do!!). Decided on the Courage which it seemed was tapped into the nearest vinegar bottle!!! Yek! Won't be back.

Good place for watching football though, they've got the latest satellite dish that gets all the premiership games.

Yeh, it's a little pikey-tastic in there. The beer is okay; reasonably priced but nothing special. I ate in there once and was not impressed. Barstaff seem friendly enough but would not go out of my way to go back :-(
|
I used to drink here, shame the evil pikies are now next door. Perhaps the staff can put some arsenic in their drinks.

P.S. Another thing you have to remember about The Woburn is the massive pikey campsite practically next door. So it does get full of pikeys on occasion, as does the Castle just up the road.

I use to love this pub but I disagree with the person that says ''no signs of CHAVS'' - this is a FIRST CLASS CHAVS pub and everybody local know it. It has great entertainment value and appears to be popular.

I like this place, the staff are welcoming and courteous. Beer is a bit on the expensive but ladies behind the bar are very attractive and are often up for it. Not great for Darts as the board is upstairs and people just walk in front of you all the time. Having a quiz on at the same time is not great either. I like the place besides that the food is great and they have two screens shwing all major sporting events

nice pub ticks all the right boxes friendly staff and customers this was an evening vist and no sign of chavs just right for a pint or meal 2 minutes from m25 junction 11

I drink in the Woburn Arms and find this a great pub, the staff are very friendly and great fun. The landlord is pleasant and is courteous, pulls out all stops to help customers and staff. I have just read the comments left by BIGMOUTH and l think his login says everything about this person. I have had a look at his other reviews and l think enough said about him!!!!!!!!!!!
