Had been closed for a while due to a "Licensing Dispute" but that has been resolved and is open and trading once again. No real ale but always seems popular. (p.s if you want draught beer try Zerodegrees next door - they brew their own)

Stunning cocktails, great staff and very relaxed.
Great back bar with staff who know how to mix. Try the Sunday Best, its fab.

I like this pub. Went in last Friday with my friends and had cocktails served to us by really friendly bar staff. Very small place but cosy!

i wish people would stop saying this is for the 'in crowd'. it's something that puts me off as i do not want to meet pretentious 'in crowd' people like me. i'm a complete arse!
BTW its a great little bar with excellent staff and sofas.

Cool bar, for the older crowd. Always a good vibe and downstairs has plenty of room to sit and talk.

I think this is a funky little bar if you think this is to pretentious then go down friar street with all the other Chavs for a punch up.

Pretty small. Staff and patrons were friendly enough but quite expensive.

Really liked it there - nice place with friendly staff & lots of good cocktails - will defo be back...

So pretentious. A couple of interesting bottles in the fridge but not much else except a clean bog.
Don't bother unless Man From Burtons flogging you an expensive cocktail gives you the horn.

Sahara is nice, if your one of Readings local wallet busters!

If you fancy good cocktails go to Bar Iguana!! Amazing, if i can remember rightly, i stayed in there for ages and had way to many.
Anyway Sahara, nice place but a little to expensive.

No reviews yet - I'm quietly stunned. This is the kind of place that divides people. Half of you will undoubtedly say it's too expensive, too crowded and the music is too loud. The other half will say it is buzzing, chic and they make a mean cocktail. Where do I fall on the topic of Sahara? I've always believed there are horses for courses.. and I've not found anywhere else in Reading that takes their cocktails quite as seriously :) If you want to hear yourself think, don't stay too long - it gets noisy. Be sure to sample their cocktails though, particularly in the 5-7pm happy hour slot during the week. The Strazberi is refreshing.
