Went here for the first time in a while the other week to watch champions league final, drinks not the cheapest in town unless you go on certain days, but nice pint and friendly staff, manager seems to be quite front of house which is nice to see.

Full of chavs, blokes and southerner-aggression- packed, tiny, no capacity and no beer- what a useless life to spend it in here
|
Bar is fairly decent, and they do have some good offers during the week. Right in the middle of all the other usually packed bars, so can be a good option on a night out. Biggest downfall is (or now hopefully was) the doorman with tattoos all over his face. Extremely unpleasant fella, but lets leave it at that. Other than that, this place ain't half bad.

Small, dull, anonymous, no proper beer.

Good for late night drinking, when the pubs shut up shop and you don't fancy the noise of the Academy. Used to spend a lot of time in here before the refurb. Looks a bit too metallic now for my liking.

This place doesn't really know what it wants to be. Some sort of cross between an American diner, a wine bar, and a cafe.
|
not too many chavs in sight, nice relaxed atmosphere, one to add to the list.

Nothing to shout about, had a pint in here one afternoon which had me chucking up the rest of the day. Its alright in the summer to sit outside but there are better bars around the area.

Excellent late license bar with friendly staff, good music, and only a smattering of chavs every now and again.
