Bulls Head, Hall Greenback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
It`s had a refurb. Apart from the toilets it`s a large improvement, it wasn`t bad before but now it`s much more user-friendly. Quite a few real ales on at a very decent price and the staff are nice too! Safe bet if you live in the vicinity.

Managed a mid-week visit and found this place thankfully short on chavs even though they was showing the England game, a guest beer on and the Guiness was excellent...ups the points score!

Used to be a traditional big boozer years back but then succumbed to the theme pub explosion, probably in the late 90`s. Very non-descript open plan pub now, Ember Inns type decor, large bar adorned with lots of hand pulls, food menu e.t.c Trouble is the hand pulls are only serving brand beers...all the real ale pump clips were turned round so can`t comment on beer quality, unless you want to talk about Guiness, Strongbow? It`s also a pub of two halves. Walk through the door to be welcomed by respectable middle aged middle class tipplers enjoying a glass of wine and a pint....quiet conversation, you get the picture...... Go further and ah ha!....The landlord is wearing a Football shirt, lads in their 20`s who should know better are wearing the sports romper suits, semi chavs are huddled in dark corners looking like they`ve had one spliff too many.......

Cheap, busy and friendly.
Packed on a Saturday afternoon and the Timothy Taylors was very good.
Brass tables stink a bit though, like putting your pint on a massive 2p.

Clean, good beer, good service. Well decorated. Cosy on a throughly washed-out day!
