Staff are incredibly rude and the pub has a hostile, unfriendly atmosphere. By far the worst night spot in Moseley, frequent at own risk.

Fairly stark - in a fashionable, cream-walled sort of way - local pub not far from the centre of Moseley. The near-ubiquitous Pure Ubu on pump which was nice.

In there again, excellent Guiness, large screen footie game and impressively friendly staff, extra bonus points.

Sort of local for grown up uni students. Not much to knock it for, maybe a bit cliquee. Being a nob though I had a pint of Brew 11 for nostalga sake, some things are best left in the past! Good pub.

Lively pub, well worth a visit, if doing a tour of Moseley. Guinness was a bit on the dear side at 3 a pint, but it was a good pint. Loud jukebox, dominated by Indie rock. Before it was fully refurbished quite a few years ago, this pub used to be known as the Trafalgar, as it is on the corner of Trafalgar Road. Would suggest it reverts back to the traditional name, and have a mural of Lord Nelson instead of some poet.

Was here for the England v Ukraine match. Plenty of places to view the game and a varying age of people inside. It seemed pretty friendley and the bar staff were good. After the match finished two blokes sat down and started playing on an accordian and a flute, never seen this happen before but, it was a bit of fun.

Positives: good vibe, good beer, food is pretty good, good for sport, live music on some weekdays.
Negatives: tends to get very over-crowded at the weekends and cramped at the best of times.
A good pub and a good place to start on a Moseley pub crawl

Safe and busy atmosphere, decent regulars. I never tried the food though, it doesn't feel like an eatery. Good roomy venue upstairs. And if you remember the Traf as it was then this place is a jewel by comparison. But its layout makes it feel a bit stifled when its rammed and I always fancy moving on after a couple of beers to be honest.

Vibrant, footy, plenty of 'easy on the eye' females (if you are that way inclined)and a good jukebox. Beer a bit pricey, but you can't have it all. Oh and usually a good funk/northern/reggae night every now and again. A good place to be.

Gets really packed at weekends. Good for the big screen sport, fast service and decent prices.

Yes, this was The Traf

Was this pub once called the Trafalgar?

This place is always rammed. The Beer is palatable, its either Brew XI or Worthingtons. The main bar has a few Big Screens and the bar at the back has Druid bands and Eco music on occasion. There's another room right next to the toilets if you've got the trots and an outdoor if the weathers anything other than treacherous.

Frequented by the younger and trendier residents of Moseley, PK's is a vibrant and well run bar. The biggest disppointment is the real ale which is limited to Brew Xl (and maybe Bass, not sure if they still do it). In my opinion, probably the best place to find fit women in Moseley. Gets packed at weekends. Has big screens to watch the major sporting events.
