Large multi section pub. The Branoc was lovely and the food good. Large portions as well. Quite busy at lunch time with the ladies football team and merchant seaman clubs meeting here. Only complaint was that the car park is full of puddles.

Stopped off when using the Tram Lovely pint of Branoc

Very handy place if you are doing a pub crawl on the Seaton tramway. The pub is quite a big place and does have various places to sit outside. Pint of Branoc was good, we were gonna eat here but we were not getting the right vibes to if you know what i mean. Would pop back for a pint here.
6/10

Great inglenook fireplace (in winter) and a warm atmosphere. The beer is good, the food is reasonably priced and OK though you might have to wait a while. I would be happy to drink here anytime but would not rush back to eat.

Visited just recently.beer good.otter.tribute & branoc very drinkable. However the socalled mashed spud used imany of the dishes offered at sixpounds is PACKET MASH poor show, not recomended to eat at this establishment.

Basic pub food ok not brilliant but at least it serves a decent pint which is more than can be said for the other pub in Colyford!

Not good. Poor quality food. Not cooked well. Owner was not concerned when I complained. I cannot think of a reason to go here. Even got a bad reputation with the locals I hear.

More of a drinkers pub than the other one in town, although far too many people eating here. However the ale was excellent and the location picturesque. Odd opening hours so be careful.

one wonders if this pub has improved from what i would discribe as an ale house nowere outside to sit unless you wont to join the smokers mainly use bye staff

We used to be regular visitors to this pub, for food as well as drink but are so dissapointed with the way it has deteriorated over the past 12 - 18 months. We called again during the summer last time in October 2007 - to give it one last chance, looked dirty, one kitchen staff had a disgustingly dirty apron on and no-one was serving behind the bar - they were in the garden having a smoke and didn't look happy to come in and serve! Please bring the standards back up to what they used to be, we used to love it as a summer regular drinking house ! Restaurant side used to be one of the best - not now.

Ate here a few times on my recent trips to the area. Very informal pub with a small caravan park behind. Nothing fancy just plain honest grub. Beer very nice and well kept. Tended to use it as our main pub having ben disappointed with the food at a certain pub in Colyton.

Made several visits during July '07, sometimes just for a pint or two and sometimes for a meal as well. A very friendly pub with excellent ales, both local and from afar, all kept in superb condition. Tried a steak one evening and was able to congratulate mine hosts on the best steak I'd eaten anywhere for a long time.

Went there for lunch as a stop off point while on the Seaton Tramway. A very welcoming and unpretentious place that served a good honest sandwich and chips with a fine selection of real ales incluidng Branscombe Vale (mmmmm). Nice garden out the back to enjoy the hospitality and watch the trams. Recommended and we look forward to going there again soon.
