West Green Tavern, Seven Sistersback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
If you are intolerant to people of colour, stay away. My guess is that any one with a negative review about this pub has this particular issue. Otherwise, if you like a cold (East) African beer with a mix of Afrobeats and Reggae, you will like this place. There is an improved line of draught beers and the weekend African bands are very good. The regilars don't mind whatever colour you are - it's you who has a problem. Maybe.

Good pub. Good music. A bit too heated for my liking.

This simply is not a pub. They've taken something which has nice features and character, and added neon lights. It's horrible, and if a "pub" is what you are looking for, and you know a good pint, I would advise you steer well away.

I didnt see any tumbleweed either, but I did have to order my drinks off a rude young barmaid that really didnt want to serve me. Im not sure what her problem was as I was looking forward to my first pint of the day and I was nothing but polite to her. I thought that she must be having a bad day, but she was fine with all the locals, maybe my face just didnt fit.
Anyway, this pub is fairly basic with a generic draught selection, a couple of pool tables, Sky Sports and three plasma screens. The England v West Indies game was being shown and there was some good banter going on between the regulars, who all seemed friendly enough.
I cant see myself returning here again as I live miles away and I certainly wouldnt make a special trip to sample the delights of Seven Sisters again.

As a frequent visitor to East Africa and probably a less frequent visitor to London I usually combine the 2 by having a few bottles of Nile Special here if I'm in the big city. Good little boozer well friendly no tumbleweed in sight.

Only go in here if you are 'of colour'..otherwise you will encounter a tumbleweed moment. This is what happened to me when accidently dared to enter this establishment. Not surprising really, considering the location.
