quilters used to be my home away from home as it was for my brother and all of our mates, no we wernt chavs - and all the chavs were eventually kept out
The Ivory Rooms which have now replaced quilters are far to upclass for the majority of their old business to return and there is nowhere to watch the football
so all in all if you liked it before dont bother going back

Quilters is no more. They shut down and are being refurbished as of 3rd July 2005. They will reopen as Ivory Rooms in October 2005 as a restaurant and cocktail bar. It will have a strict dress code and age limit so no more chavs!!! Think it will be worth a look just so see what they've done to the old school house.

Avoid it like the plague... unless you're below 25 and "think" that you're not a chav.
It was the place to be in 10 years ago but it has changed as you get older you realise that drinking warm beer and trying to mix it was kids isn't worth it.

Not really a pub at all. More like a Kindergarten in fact. Don't know where the customers come from but I wish they'd go back there. Wouldn't give this place the steam off my warm pint (lucky if you get served a full one) of lager. OK at the end of a pub crawl - to use the toilets before legging it home - but I wouldn't waste my money or time by staying longer than needed for a Jimmy. I certainly don't rate this place as an asset to Billericay (you may have noticed).

Quilters is great !! Right on the end of the high street so you can crawl along all of the pubs ending there with loud music, dj's, widescreen tv's with music channels, cheap drink and a party room !!! Best pun in billericay without a doubt ! Actually its more of a bar !!

Quilters is being taken over by the less desirables of Essex who are looking to improve their image by going to Billericay. The guys clearly think they are God's gift and the girls are of a similar level. A Billericay pub that used to be great & needs to get that back.

Great drinks offers and give aways. Wide Screen Music Videos of a night with a DJ mixing both audio and visual together. School-girl barmaids serve at the tables and behind the bar and there is a shuttle bus that runs from Quilters direct from Ikon - but be warned....book it early - it gets full quick!
