It's not really a pub now, more a restaurant that serves beer. Expect to be asked to move on if you're sat down and not eating.

Now re-opened December 2010 (?) and re-named the Grazing Goat. Very classy refit. Now more of a gastro pub. Only one ale, Deuchars, and a few ciders, mostly the usual lager suspects.

Situated in a nice quiet street away from the asylum that is Oxford Street if you find yourself caddying for the other half and need to chill.

outdated nasty pub, the staff and beer not too bad though

This pub has now shut down. It closed just before Christmas 2008, as Portman Estates are going to re-develop (that's the rumour, anyway).
Pity, as my office was next door!

The pub had a notice on the front door saying 'Sorry No Sky Sports'. We however noticed that it was on towards the rear of the pub, strange. Two hand pumps in use yesterday Caledonian Deuchars and Adnams Bitter. My mate who drinks cider noticed the sign about a cider festival but after asking found out it was just bottled ciders and a pretty regular range. The Deuchars was drinkable but not at it's best. A pretty traditional pub with a number of different seating areas. Not to far from Hyde Park where the girls were waiting with our bags for yesterday's Proms in the Park.

Useful watering hole if you get thirsty between the Pontefract Castle and the Carpenters Arms. I think I had a pint of Adnams Bitter....

Small, pleasant pub in quiet backstreet near Marble Arch. A choice of 4 ales altogether but no surprises. The pub itself was equally ordinary. I had a very good pint of Deuchars which I enjoyed at one of the tables outside at the front in the sunshine. 3.15 seemed a bit steep for it however.

Tried to go here on Saturday Jan 28th. It was 8:30pm and the barmaid told us she was closing up??? Closed at 8:30pm in Central London??? The Mason Arms and the Carpenters Arms down the street had plenty of patrons in them. Sounds like bad management to me.

Well I'm a Northerner, and the prices seem OK to me! Visited 3 times recently (mid-week), always a good choice of ales and I've not had a bad one yet. Atmosphere is welcoming and usually not too busy. Will continue to visit when I'm in the area.

Didn't really like this place when visited on Sat afternoon. Bloke I took to be landlord seemed ok as did Polish barmaid. However the Adnams was slightly ropey.

Place really was blighted by northerners complaining loudly at the bar about "LONDON PRICES". That really gets on my nerves.

This pub is quite nice for lunch-times and the clientele is pretty much all from the local offices. The food is quite plain & relatively good value and OK to eat. The pub isn't bad although the staff can be a bit grumpy, and the toilets are up some scary stairs that you could easily fall down if you were a bit sozzled. It doesn't really have any atmosphere and on Thurs/ Fri lunch-times it can be hard to get a seat but there's nothing actually wrong with it.

Nice cozy pub. I believe they do good food as it was packed when I went there with people chowing down. Will go back and it seems like it blocks out the tourists off of Oxford St.

Usually closed for most of the week, this pub is a little dull even when it's open.

Must admit don't remember an awful lot about this one - think it was the last one on a small pub-crawl, so should try it again! Remember having a pint of Kronenbourg, and seeing a strange sign saying "toilets at first floor".

small pub behind the Churchill Intercontinental Hotel and around the corner from the Portman and Cumberland Hotels. Very pleasant staff excellent food and quite a varied menu. Say "hi" to Pam and Lorraine when you drop by, tell them Sam sent you!
