A pub I remember from my younger days when I lived in Perth. It has been opened out (the old "lounge" now being part of the bar) but it is still much as it was all those years ago. No karaoke when we went - we would probably have left if it was on) and the TV was not intrusive. Tucked away in a little Wynd or Close off the High Street this is a very old building which is worth a visit. It's owned by Belhaven (who are owned by Greene King) so I had the Belhaven beer which was fine. A chatty wee pub full of locals !!!

A characterful city-centre bar with extensive wood panelling. On my visit had three cask beers on, including two from Harviestoun. The beer I had was in pretty good nick. No karaoke (fortunately) when I called in - the atmosphere seemed very welcoming to casual callers.

I was at the old ship inn perth for the closing down party sat/sun and the bar was drunk dry, they had High Hopes Karaoke on both nights he took photos and put them on dvd and handed them out on the sunday it was a great party weekend cant wait untill it opens again were else is there a good karaoke on sundays in perth.

this pub was very busy on sunday must be the best pub for karaoke on a sunday

this pub has changed it has a new manegeress very clean and all the bar staff sing and dance when HIGH HOPES KARAOKE is on most sundays from 5.30 until closing time

i was in this pub during the break at perth concert hall,there was a karaoke on (high hopes) he had me up singing i have never done it before but i go to karaokes all the time now thats the pub to go to during the concert hall break and after the concert hall closes the karaoke was still on

Little pub down a wee side street serving decent grub and beer.
