Lively back street pub with a strong irish contingent on both sides of the bar. Close to Watford FC. No real ale unfortunately, so I had to go with the Newcastle Brown Ale. If it had some proper beer it wouldn't be that bad a pub.

Uninspiring back street local pub with only standard keg beers and lagers. Handy place for a quick pint of Guiness if you are on your way from the town centre to the football stadium to see the Saracens or the Hornets, but that's about it.

Not a bad pub, bit on the small side. cant put your hands in your pockets on matchdays

Macs Bar has now been renamed The Oddfellows which I think is one of its previous names. The layout reminds me of some old pubs in Northern England in that just inside the main entrance there are two separate doors that lead to different sides of the same bar. There is a square bar with service on three sides and an island in the middle holding optics etc. There's a pool room out the back and a decent amount of covered outside seating. Very much a locals pub and a decent enough place for a pint in an area that doesnt have many pubs.

Why is there a DIVIDE in this pub?

Nothing nasty about this place at all. Very down to earth pub which does an excellent pint of Guinness. Well worth a visit.

"A no nonsense, get your beer and drink it Pub." More like a no nonsense, get your head kicked it in pub. Nasty.

A great pub which provides something for everyone. They have a large screen so great for sports fans. There is a big garden - lovely in the summer and for sticking kids in! There is also a pool table for those who are handy with a cue. They also have live bands over the weekend. The bar staff are great and very speedy. All in all, it is a very friendly pub full of characters and all are welcome!

A no nonsense, get your beer and drink it Pub. Pool, darts, big screen and TVs showing the football, rugby and racing. The Guinness is excellent, poured just the way it should be. The staff are friendly and quick so no wasting valuable drinking time. I go in there before going across to watch Saracens at Vicarage Road.
