there are better places, and indeed better fullers pubs nearby, good ales, decent-ish atmosphere, but nowt spectacular..

Top end Suits bar. Fullers flagship so it seems. The beers nice, if pricey, staff all foreign and either pretty ,or very pretty. Nice bar, expensive tho.

I met my partner for a drink in this bar for the local suits at lunchtime, the service was incredibly slow and the food was insanely over-priced (nearly 10 for a sandwich - substantially worse and more meanly filled than any in the nearby sandwich shops, although with a couple of chips and a few tired looking leaves thrown in, admittedly).
No wonder those city boys need their bonuses if thats what theyre happy to pay for a sarnie.
Characterless and insultingly over-priced more like a station lounge than a bar avoid

Typical City bar - trendy and expensive, but I had an excellent burger with home cooked chips.

A bar never frequented by me whilst working nearby, The Fine Line is a bland and incredibly boring place to have a drink. The music playing in the background on my visit last Friday (July 6th) was, to be frank, torturous. I felt like I was in a Pret A Manger. The clientele generally tends to be made up of local office workers who like to bring their work to the pub and as for the interior and dcor? Need I bother? Id rather drink Special Brew with the vagrants around London Bridge station than be seen in here again.

I really liked this place, although this may have something to do with the fact that I didn't have to pay. We had reserved a small area upstairs looking right onto the Monument - a great location if you get those seats. As the drinks were charged to my employer I can't really comment on the prices, although the place did have an expensive (overpriced) feel to it. The barmaid is pretty buff too.

Pleasant staff. Bog-standard prices for this kind of place in this area. No shortage of braying suits though.

Pulling-barn for junior administrative staff from nearby offices.
