Arrived here for a quick pint and was pleasantly greeted by the bar staff. Very friendly. Several people eating what looked good quality food. 3 or 4 standing at the bar. The decor is pretty dark but the premises had a nice relaxed feel. Four real ales on. Peatland IPA Dark Island, Jarl and Schiehallion plus several beers, ciders and lagers on tap. Dark Island was on top form. Toilets small and old but spotless.
Next time I am in the area I will make sure I visit again.

Quality of the food was fantastic. If you are in North Berwick and fancy a meal, especially at the weekend, I would highly recommend a visit

OK during the week but at weekends full of locals getting pissed in the evenings. Only one real ale on but surprisingly did good range of ale in bottles. OK for a visit but would not want to stay all night.

The Ship Inn has been taken over by new management. It has become a popular haunt for locals creating a buzzy atmosphere. The food and service seems to be better than previous comments and it is good to see Sky sports back in the pub as it is a great place to view football, no matter where you sit in the main bar area you can still see the telly. I would recommend this pub for a visit.

Good ale, but very loud and rude locals on rugby match days.

As good as it gets in NB. Mothola might think it is a tourist pub, but as a local I can confirm it is a local's haunt too.

Tourist Pub. average food, crap service.
