Pub now boarded up. Would be very surprised if it ever re-opened.

I agree with previous reviews, it has a great selection of bottled beers, tends to have a varying age range of punters. a fantastic atsmophere on weekends. Bar staff all very friendly; just what you need after a hard day in the office. Parrot can be a bit noisey at times though, Deffo the best place to go for a night out, cheap booze, good company, and a nice coal fire. what more would a man with a bad leg want. oh yea and it ha free wi fi too, Yippee

I think this is an excellent local pub, good selection of beers and extremely friendly staff. A very nice bar with an open fire on the cold days and warm atmosphere all year round. Highly recommend for all ages.

Ales gone but been replaced with the best selection of bottled and draught beers I've seen. New to town and very much appreciated the free Wi Fi available. Staff very friendly, highly recommended.

I quite liked it. Its got a tele. That's gotta be cool. And the owner's daughter......OOOOFFT

Brilliant, fun & friendly local's bar 'where everyone knows your name' yet inclusive enough to make welcome the quiet newspaper reading stranger. Regular entertainment from quiz night, karaoke, live music and dj's to themed nights. Massive drink selection (check out the world beer range)and the best jukebox I've ever fed. The perfect counterpoint to soulless chain bars and manky old style boozers! Go, introduce yourself, settle in and give Mz Honeycombe my love!! Oh yeah....did I forget to mention the parrot.......
