Mulberry Bush, Dunstableback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Went in this pub one lunchtime recently. First visit in its current guise.
I was impressed. Nice decor, good service, very good loos, food seemed OK (I just had toasted sandwiches).
Only real ale was the unexciting Greene King IPA bt it was well kept - and only 2.55 a pint.
Nice place

what a difference the refurbishment has made to this place! gone are the foul toilets, the pool tables, the majority of the televisions, the disgusting lager. it is now somewhere nice to go for a meal, the bar does retain a couple of muted tvs for football/sports. a decent sized, varied menu and also a fantastic carvery, all well priced, in a nicely rufurbished pub. i cant emphasize enough how much this pub has changed for the better.

awesome pub, great food, great beer and great atmosphere and excellent sports coverage

We were out looking for a Sunday lunch. Having tried a few pubs earlier that were either too busy or too pricey this one looked quiet and cheap - two meals for a fiver - too cheap I expect. From entering to leaving took all of ten seconds. Inside was dark and grim with a cold atmosphere. It has no real ale but does have a clientle of single mothers spending their benefit money (at least it goes a long way on the food here). We moved on to look elsewhere.

rumoured to be closing soon. beer tastes god awful now, hopefully someone will buy it and turn it around, place has a fair amount of potential.

pleasant, not brilliant.

cheap carlsberg (1.90 a pint), although i got stung for 5.15 for a single vodka and red bull recently - maybe living in the north until recently has left me not expecting to pay more than 2 for a drink!! plenty of screens to watch sport on, staff usually friendly, havent tried the grub myself but looks pretty average from what i've seen friends eating, couple of pool tables as well. good atmos whenever i've watched football there, be it england or the cup final.

No real ale, bland town pub with little character.
Only redeeming feature is that they have Sky and loads of screens throughout the pub.
|
A fairly bland pub with decor for an a youthful audience with no imagination to add to the pool tables/slot machines etc. Boring tables and chairs to match. When busy can be near impossible to get a drink with not enough staff available.

Part of the Mr Q's chain, but don't let that put you off, been extremely well managed, and has the lot really, very cheap drinks, very cheap food, plenty of gaming machines, plenty of tv's showing a whole host of sports, and a pretty good atmosphere.
