Went in this pub on a Saturday night. Paid 3 for a pint of warm Timothy Taylor landlord and had to endure a bunch of pensioners singing karaoke. Awful, awful pub.

See below: My comment is based on the PLUNGINGTON TAVERN Plungington Road, as pictured in the photo.

What happened to this place? Beer was ok, and the interior was in reasonable order but the place was empty, even at 10-30pm on a Friday. Hope things pick up soon for what was one of my favourite pubs in Preston.

What the hell has happened to this once great pub? It's more like a tarts bordelo now, What's happend to Graham? This place has definatly gone to the dogs, even the outside looks as though someone has gone mad with lipstick! My rating is 1 (For the Beer i had)

The Plungington Tavern is one of the best traditional pubs in Preston. The staff are friendly, the beer is well kept, and the premises are always spotless.
Tip: Bring your camera, the exterior of the corner/end-terrace pub has some gorgeous art-nouveau detailed brickwork.

What a pub. Had some good beer, good music, (not too loud) not too busy for a Friday night, plenty of in & out trade, everyone seemed friendly and willing to talk. Bar staff appear to be well known and respected, Joining in the jovial banter with customers, Bit heavy on the walls with awards but its better than wallpaper reading, Plenty on offer to go with your beer and crisps, 'Ie' Papers, Free music, Big screens and gaming room out the way at the back. what more could one wish for when enjoying a few draughts of an evening. Getting geared up for no smoking as well, Things just get better.

Gotta say I don't like the place. I've been a few times but tend to find it very unwelcoming.
Bog-standard beers in a bog-standard pub really.
