great bar, good, sorry fantastic service. if you want a brilliant cocktail, it's the place to go. all the bar staff know their drinks, and can also make off-the-menu cocktails if the book of a menu still doesn't satisfy you! not really a pretentious place at all, most people (not just Mr Kenincamden) seem to say that about cocktail bars...hmmmmmmmmm....
anyways...yes yes great bar. will be going again, and again, and again...

If going to an old mans pub means not having to encounter some braying powder snorting chav who rates themselves then fine.
What would the previous poster know about standards the drinks in there are terrible and over priced.

We can't help it if you can't keep up with the standards mate. If we're not your crowd stay away in your old man pubs!

Prententious beyond belief, went in thier with my girlfriend who writes bar reviews which means I get dragged into lifestyle bars, the kind of place where the previous poster goes.
I really dont want to be in the in crowd, if it means poor service, neanderthals on the door, and paying over the odds for below average drinks, by the way you might get a Forest player or two in thier.

The epitome of class...choosy doormen make for the 'in' crowd, smallish bar but this only adds to the atmosphere. Expensive drinkls but you get what you pay for!

Wife 800 pound coat 280 Lulu Guinness shoes me nice suit polished shoes refused entry because they had Forest players in ? what was all that about ?

Very overrated, good cocktails, but only if you get the right bartender - the new batch are not a scratch on the originals. I ordered a mojito & my boyfriend had to instruct the girl step by step how to make it! This was on a busy night too, please...

Ace drinks, electric atmosphere, who cares if it's a wee bit pricey?

love to rate this pub ...but i can never get passed the bouncers - pity I'm not short of a few bob and would have parted you an amount of money

Narrow bar, could double as a corridor, though tidily fitted out. Very good barstaff, with cocktail mixing skills second to none. Currently popular with the 'in crowd', this allows the bouncers to pick and choose who they admit, so dress accordingly.
