Can only agree with those who found this a puzzling place: however, we had a good pint of Guiness in a friendly atmosphere before going to The Alpha for a pint of hand pulled.

Interesting yet puzzling all-keg hostelry parallel with the high street. The multi-language graffiti-like comments on the walls gave it an edge but I'm not sure what sort of edge. The room to the left as you enter was a raised area surrounded by a walkway - we didn't venture into the other side. A friendly enough place with music from some rapper swearing his head off to Brian and Michael of Lowry lyrics. Enjoyable but puzzling

This is a rare gem; hidden away behind the High Street. A little piece of old Ireland. I have been drinking here on and off for 35 years and its always been a good pub. Well worth a long visit - an excellent pub in a surprise location. YOU MUST VISIT THIS PUB.

Friendly pub, just off the High Street, with happy bar staff, good beer, and a lively mix of customers. A little restricted in the Real Ale sense, but as its unashamedly 'Irish' the fact is that the Guinness is top notch. Tom, the landlord is normally 'round and about' and his hand on the tiller is quite evident in the effective management of one of Slough's few successful(busy) pubs in the current economic climate.

Love this place, still find it quite strange that one of my favourite pubs is in Slough of all places, not somewhere you associate with good pubs. I dont get there that often but when i do the staff are always friendly as are the locals and the paddy landord is an absolute diamond.

Nice friendly local - better than the location would suggest ! Never felt threatened in here, unlike some of the other pubs on or near the High Street

This is a great pub in the centre of Slough popped in on saturday to get out of the rain. Friendly enough pub wasnt to packed. Lots of nicknacks on the walls and for some reason lots of German writing on the wall. I was in on my own for 1 pint but will pop back in bfor a few soon.

Not just the best pub I've found in Slough, but one of the best anywhere. Very good jukebox and Guinness. Landlord naturally very hospitable. I stay in Slough through work now and again and will always visit this pub.

A good pub for a late drink - preferably the Guinness as the real ale not up to much. Friendly place, good atmosphere and when i was in there a few weeks before xmas the landlord came round with free sausage rolls and the like later in the evening.

Myself and a few mates went in there last year, loved the jukebox. I initially thought the Landlord was a bit miserable but I couldn`t have been more wrong. We went to buy a big round but he had already payed for them, it was a real top gesture, and something I`ve never had before from a bloke you`ve just met. Haven`t been to Slough much since but will always pop in there when in town
