Rough Irish place, but without the charm of most other Kilburn joints. Not the friendliest pub, full range of bog standard lagers and Guinness and horse racing on the go all day.

This pub is really improving now - great ambience and the beer is good - I like the friendly staff!

The karaoke on a Sunday here has to be heard to be believed. Don't think I've heard so many songs massacred quite as badly as in here. It's a locals place but friendly enough and 2.30 for a pint of Smiths can't be knocked.

Went for Sunday Dinner with the family and some friends. A good value, food and drinks for the 5 of us (2 adults + 3 kids) was only 20. I enjoyed the food. They forgot my pudding but were acceptably apologetic about it and brought it out right away. I wouldn't describe the regulars as hard or dubious, mostly they just seemed to be an older working class group (of course it was the middle of the afternoon). Regardless they were friendly enough to us. We're planning to return in the future.

Visited last week for the first time. Slightly interesting clientelle but not threatening. Had a reasonable pint of Hobgoblin (less than 3 per pint) so went back for another.
My colleague and I ordered a Chilli (two meals for a fiver) - this is where things went a bit amiss. Firstly the flavour was akin to one of those Vesta meals you used to get in the 80s. Secondly, the temperature was akin to the weather outside (0 degrees). Only reason I didn't complain was time was against me. That said my other companion had an all day brekkie which he said was OK.
In summary I would visit again but would eat elsewhere.

On St Patrick's day you could see the excitement etched on the many shades of green faces as they walked through the front doors. You could smell the fear and sense the disappointment as they left the pub horizontally through the window.

I liked this pub as even though it was full and there seemed to be plenty of dubious characters / drunks it was not threatening in any way as these high street pubs in a built up area sometimes can be.

This place has a personality but I do find it a bit intimidating. Some of the customers come from the harder part of life but if you like a little thrill or tremor for a change give it a whirl.

Pleasant enough boozer, decent beer at reasonable prices large beer garden at the back. Has a 'golden oldies disco at the weekends which attracts a more 'mature' crowd

Since the refurb around St Pats day this pub has turned in to a good all round pub! Pulls in a good crowd for the football, live music on Sat nights and also the great DJ Alan every Sunday (can't beat this anywhere in Kilburn - 60s, 70s and 80s music to dance away the end of the weekend!). Food is also good - new menu (decent food and decent portions)and they also do a Sunday Roast! Oh and it has a big beer garden and patio for you smokers out there. And the best bit above all......the drinks are cheaper than what they were before the refurb! Don't hear of that often! When I meet up with the girls we always come here for food and drinks at the weekend - would defo recommend!

Went by on the bus the other day and it had a sign saying "big reopening St Patrick's day" or words to that effect. Will pay a visit at some point.

New landlady had a duo a few weeks back Hart to Hart realy good great motown realy lively couple great fun I realy enjoyed the evening

Lots of places to watch the footie. Had a two piece band on who weren't bad. Lager a bit flat but all in all would return for a quick one. Not hard enough to have a meal though. Two for a fiver looked enticing but let's face it you're not talking cordon bleu.

Cheap and cheerful. Except for the cheerful part.
Has Courage ales, and ales on the High road are near-impossible to find.
Have a meal in here if you're hard enough.
