Called at this pub as I have many times over the years. Disappointed to say that my beer was served in a dirty glass, one inch ring of bubbles on the inside of the glass. When glasses had to be polished with a cloth it took far longer. With machine washing there is no excuse for sloppy bar work.

Called in here recenty with SWMBO and unfortunately had to send utterly inedible roast back, though have to say staff were pleasaant enough, and apologetic, and this did follow a happier visit a week or two previously. Nonetheless not good, and beer is kept too cold.

Not good - I've only ever been a few times and the food has never been impressive. Keep driving and find a non-chain pub that cares about what it serves up.

A chain pub. Indifferent food, reasonable beer, disinterested staff. I had toad-in-the-hole. Not quite the worst Yorkshire pudding I've ever had, but a close call.

I found the food in this pub very good. Friendly and professional service too. Nice beer garden, (although right next the A road). A very worthwhile trip.

Food? This is microwave city but at least it's not silly money. Beer very ordinary

Nice pub, good food and friendly staff!

Vintage Inn (i.e. standard menu and decor) on edge of Ashdown Forest. Small smoking section with newspapers and comfy chairs available which was quickly taken up by 3 tables of non smokers! Decent pint of Harveys with reasonable cooked food.
