Visited a week ago last Saturday to find only a few people inside but still a very long wait for food service. Maybe members of staff are tasked with one job each because it took ages even to receive a menu. The Langport Bitter was quite good, I didn't try the Proper Job. Nicely refurbished building with a modern feel even though old features remain.

Last pub of the day for us in Somerset, we emerged from the fog to find this one on a B road. It was very quiet and lacked atmosphere. The owners seemed friendly, albeit a bit strange. Bays Gold & Teignworthy Reel Ale and Neap Tide were the beers available. Ciders were Westons Stowford Press and Thatchers Gold. No music or TV were on. There is a pool table and dartboard at one end and a skittle alley is signed. Could be a really good pub, with a little atmosphere. But sadly, I was left feeling a little disappointed.

Nice friendly local pub with 3 real ales and taunton trad cider. Teignworthy Neep Tide was 2.00 a pint with Scrum Down 2.50 and Glastonbury Love Monkey. The Glastonbury was cloudy and off and my pint was changed without fuss as the barrel was near finished. Food was good and home made, but i was part of a special birthday party group.

Very nice pub with three ales on when visted on the 11th. Friendly bar lady too.

A better than average country pub with a good friendly welcome. Interior is comfortable 'rural' as one would expect, but clean, tidy and welcoming. Three ales on - only had time for a pint of Teignworthy's Neap Tide, which was in fine condition. The only other customers during my visit this lunchtime were three old-timers who spent a good twenty minutes at least talking very knowledgably (apparently, it turns out, from watching a lot of TV) about World War 2 - bless! Poor young barmaid didn't know what had hit her.

Just another village pub out there on the levels.
Not great, but not bad either. It serves a purpose for the locals and the occaisional visitor.
Nice welcome, good beer and cider.

Shawnda proposed this place some time ago I notice...maybe she(?) doesn't use it anymore.
I'm not surprised, there's nothing 'brill' to recommend.....but it's not bad, just quietly, locally, unexceptionally still open.
average ales too...
