The Chairmakers just hosted my 80th birthday party for 23 people, we found the food to be excellent, could'nt fault the service we recieved, i would highly recommend this pub in the future. The staff were extremley friendly and more than helpful.

This charming village pub is a regular of mine despite the distance i need to travel to get there. The atmosphere and staff are always welcoming and helpful and the food is simply gorgeous. The landlord and lady will always make you feel welcome and are always willing to assist you however they can, or just simply whittle away the hours with pleasant small talk. The Chairmakers has to be highly recomended

I dont know what pub u have been too but I eat in the chairmakers every week, the landlady and landlord are very friendly and helpful and always make an effort to stop and speak to us. The food is always perfect and fresh! The staff are very helpful and friendly as well. I would recommend this pub to anyone especially the sunday carvery!!!!

Very rude landlady, had an issue with the food and the landlady told me "im day off, find someone else"....
Also i work for a supplier that delivers to the chairmakers, and have been told that the kitchen is filthy.
Only positive thing i can really say about the place, is the rest of the staff were lovely, shame about the management and food. (maybe it was just an off day)

Went there in the afternoon last week. Liked it a lot. There's a reasonable amount of parking space to begin with. The outside could do with a touch-up but very nicely decorated and arranged inside.Large garden with plenty of tables and a nice expansive view across fields. Had an in-a-basket bar meal that was very good, more than enough to eat and fairly priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only criticism (or maybe not) was that there's no real play equipment for children (although there was an area and some kids goalposts+net for football).

Went to this pub one Sunday lunchtime a few months ago and it was terrible. The food was awful; we waited over an hour for our main course of unidentifiable objects either cremated or deep-fried. Avoid.

Terrible place. Liked the old style, gone the way of a wine bar, very faceless like most around this area.!!
