Handy for the train or tram. My usual waiting room, now run by Lincoln Green brewery with most of their beers on plus 4 or 5 guests. Comfortable enough two bar pub.

This hotel is a must to stay at. Easy access to Nottingham Centre. An old high-ceilinged building which has been tastefully decordated. Excellent value for money. Friendly staff and nice astmosphere. A definate return for us!

Had a not-so-good pint of Adnams Bitter on yesterday

No Nottingham Ale anymore. Has a Pedigree handpump, but none available on Saturday. Decor has not changed!

The decor is pure 1970s but the Nottingham Ale is spot on. No quibbles about serving a proper measure and a generally warm, friendly atmosphere. A local vicar is a regular!

This is one of those places you go to to meet people out of the town centre hustle & bustle.
Dave keeps an excellent pint & all very reasonably priced. The staff are always pleasant & ready to have a chat & a laugh (if it's not too busy).

Large, former victioran hotel. Bar and lounge. Varying clientele. Used to feature some good beers. Rather dull and uninspiring. Very little talent to attract guys on the prowl from the high street so little need for bouncers here.
