dirty little pub,sarcastic landlord(who was the only one laughing at his own jokes)to many small minded regulars who suck up to the landlord.dodgy kitchen staff(goes the bog and doesnt wash her hands)in all very unpleasant experiance

Visited this pub over the xmas period whilst visiting relatives. Couldnt actually say it would be my first port of call in Sandbach, but the place seemed friendly enough, if a little scruffy ( Torn Seating etc.) Landlord is a 'bit of a character' ... bit of a cross between Bobby Ball and a Seventies Footballer (Scouse Perm and Tash) ... Some of the punters looked as though a good wash wouldnt go amiss - but all said and done the beer was reasonable if not a bit pricey.

Nice one room pub, with the pool table and dart board in a seperate area.
Beer is not too bad, and the landlord is one of those blokes who believes he has a sense of humour. That's it, an annoying prat!! I'd still go back though.
