Great family pub and great value Samuel Smiths beers. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Thing must have improved considerably since John Hallam's review. I found the pub to be very clean, tidy, comfortable & friendly with the usual JS beers on tap. I will definitely go there again if passing but it's not exactly on the beaten track.

Nice friendly local pub, even nice enough to take my Mum n Dad - cheap beer, good for a quiet drink - can be a bit smokey though.

Tatty pub, stinks of fried food, frequented by local dropouts

Decent place the staff are friendly and willing to help. Everyone knows Everyone else there. The beer is good quality and cheap. The only downside is that the pub is a bit tatty bit it is due for a refurbishment soon so that should improve. Its a shame i cant get back to bradway enough to visit it more often

Handy if you're waiting for a bus - the Bradway terminus is right outside the door, but the only reason I ever used to go was because the beer was so cheap. Nothing special, really.

Quite simply the best pub in this fine city. 1.43 for a pint of Ayingerbrau lager, which is one of the finest lagers man has ever produced! Go there and enjoy good times.
