Poor ale, terrible service. Wouldn't bother again!

The hotel bar had one real ale, Wye Valley bitter, perfect condition and temperature and one of the best pints I've had in a long time. Seemed like a good formula, serving one good session (3.7) ale, and not try to be over ambitious. For a hotel bar it had a good atmosphere. I hope people support this grand old Victorian hotel that!clearly seen better days.

dont bother popping in for a drink here, especially if you drink strongbow, its minging and nearly 3 quid a pint, the usual barman is USELESS

Never actually been in here but looks like a complete s*****e from the outside. Once took refuge under the canopy out the front when there was a storm but decided to chance being struck by lightning instead. You can smell the p**s a mile off.

Know locally as the Grim Dragon (try staying there overnight and you'll think Ryan Air aren't so bad after all). Still frequented by Hereford pensioners who can't remember why they keep coming there.
|
Surely this hotel is called THE GREEN DRAGON? That is what is written across its facade in large letters.
|
Nothing to write home about. Only worth drinking in if you are a guest

Small bar on the front of Hereford's premier hotel. Not a bad pint, but no atmosphere whatsoever. voted 3
