Walkabout, Rugbyback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
The pub is alright, cheesy music downstairs, up is dance music, toilets stink and some of them dont flush, bouncers are pathetic and have a real attitude problem, last time i was in there one of them was to busy trying to chat up a blonde rather than do their job and break up a fight which was about to happen, i have even seen the same one in a group of girls dancing. Another one walks around like he's god like, if you even breath in the wrong direction you get a bollocking, i dont feel like i can relax in the place and i also dont feel safe. As for going round trying to chat up all the blondes they need sacking.

Toilets are pathetic, stunk of piss and crap. Haven't been cleaned for about 3 years I reckon.

The barstaff charge what the hell they like. They ignore the special offers on some drinks and when challenged they seem to take the huff. Went in the other week... special offer on the 4X... was charged as if the offer didnt exist... special offer prices all over the pub... barman insisted the offer ended at 9pm... WE had to tell HIM it ended at 10... he checked it out on a daaaar away till and we were right, he didnt even apologise. Makes you wonder why they dont ring it up in the till while they are serving you... trying to con? All I can say is - be on your guard, check out the prices before you order and any special offers and the times they finish, dont go in drunk cos they will prob try and charge you �20 for a glass of dish water. This pub used to be great... what went wrong?

This pub is dead compared to what it used to be. Barstaff are weird, sometimes they charge for lime, sometimes they dont. Toilets ALWAYS smell so bad that id rather piss and shit myself than go in them.

Walkabout's alright when theres a band on a thursday upstairs is just crap bouncers and bar staff are all rude but it's generally alright the gold card thing is a good idea.

If your a kid who likes clubbing at weekends this is the kind of pub for you. However the beer is awful and overpriced and its absolutley packed with teenagers drinking alcopops. Like a lot of themed town centres pubs Bar Med was built in the old Boots the chemist building. Just don't bother if your over 25.

Busiest pub in Rugby. Busy on weekdays and especially busy on weekends. Queue to get in at the weekends is a nightmare. Good music. Absolutley heaving on a saturday night, good drinks offers. 2 floors, downstairs regular pub, upstairs club. Tend to play dance music on weekends alot upstairs and have regular dj.
