Great pub! Specialising in chips and burgers and hot sauces. what more do you want! Decent range of beer if not hanging bat, but good staff and friendly customers make this a more attractive prospect than the slightly austere Oxford Bar along the road

Had a couple of ales in here and they were good - bit more vibrant than the Oxford down the way - not everyone wants quiet/unspoilt/traditional/old man type pubs - me, I don't mind either.

I skipped it this time as it looked as though it was more of a dining bar rather the old pub I used to know. Hopefully somebody will tell me otherwise and I can give it another go,

A smart and stylish backstreet pub attracting a broad selection of punters. Although not a Beer Guide-recommende venue, the cask ale was found in reasonable nick, if a little lively. Service was friendly enough and efficient, from a rather attractive barmaid. There is definitely aspirations towards a contemporary bar atmos here, albeit that it's housed in an old building. I think it just about pulls off the difficult marriage of pub, bar and eatery. The grub looked appealing although I wasn't staying long and couldn't indulge. Nowhere near the character and intimacy of the nearby Oxford, but a more cosmopolitan and commodious choice. Not bad.

Still fab burgers. Guest beer always interesting (and well kept) and good wine list. Can't fault the consistency of this bar. It's where I met my beloved so it has a special place in my heart.

The Cambridge has improved 1000% since it re-opened.

The burgers are overpriced in my opinion since they do contain a large proportion of bread. I don't mind paying for a bit of quality but don't like feeling that I am being ripped off.

Pub for the rich kids from the New Town. Bloody fantastic burgers though.

Good bar in the centre of Edinburgh for sports, football or rugby. Several TV's and decent beer. Great big burgers as well.

Best burgers in town

Good boozer in the centre of town. The burgers they have on the menu are huge and there's a wide selection of toppings. As it's just off the main streets in town I hadn't been in before.
