Reasonable. Had a Harvey's Best which was nice enough

Nice pint of sharps doombar. Bar staff friendly.

Lovely drop of Harveys. Great service too. A wedding party came in just as I went to the bar and the landlord was busy with them, so he called to the kitchen for reinforcements and I was served straight away. Food was good too. I liked the 'Bull Dog' - Korkers sausage and my friend's Ploughmans looked the best I have seen in a long while. The pub is up a steep climb from the station, but the walk is worth it and crosses the river on a narrow bridge. Take a camera.

Popped in for a couple of pints after a wedding at the church across the road. the ales; Harveys and London Pride were both in good condition. Seemed a pleasant enough place.

This place seems to have moved somewhat up-market since my last visit, with a friendly welcome and Cask Marque accredited beers. No "tatooed thugs" in evidence, just a few lads playing darts and minding their own business.

my god, whats happened to this place, ok last time i visited here was about 10 years ago but this is a country pub not a place for tatooed thugs who should be in maidstone town centre beating each other up.
