Called in here mid-afternoon at the end of a costal walk; what a delightful refuge from the ensuing storm outside! We were too late for food but 3 pints of St Austell's very well kept ales and a few bags of crisps were ample compensation. Very friendly barmaid who welcomed our generally over-enthusiastic dog - even offering it a snack. Interior is cosy and inviting. Will definitely return.

Good standard no nonsense Cornish pub, food excellent, Tribute well kept and drunk, by me, lots. Nice folk, chatty. Well worth a visit.

Very welcoming place at the end of the walk from St.Just. Decent beer, friendly staff and nice old interior. Didn't eat but the menu looked fine.

Was here in early September. Didn't eat, but the St Austell Tribute was good. A pleasant place to escape to for a few lotions.

Improved since my last visit three years ago. Excellent food and plenty of it, with good beers. Will return

Visited the Plume three times in a week when working in the area. Friendly, gently raucous and affordable food. Go on friday for fish and chips. St. Austell ales on cask. Gets very busy and can be tricky to get to the bar when the regular visitors are leaning thereabouts. Otherwise excellent. Watch the steps into the toilet when trousered...
