The Goodmanham Arms was our fourth pub of the day in Yorkshire after the Marketplace Alehouse & Deli in Doncaster, the Black Swan in Asselby and the now closed Carpenters Arms in Market Weighton. The Goodmanham Arms is a lovely small village pub situated on a bend in the lane. It has a nice interior with a couple of tiny rooms, an outdoor courtyard with plenty of seating and the toilets and a garden area to the side and rear, with a children's play area. The All Hallows brewery is on site and they had No Notion Porter, Ragged Robyn, Wold's Way IPA & Peg Fyfe Dark Mild. Guests were St Austell Tribute, Theakston Best, Nick Stafford's Hambleton Ales Stallion & Ossett Yorkshire Blonde. Ciders were Orchard Pig Maverick, Cock Eyed Mad Jack, Westons Old Rosie & Purbeck Cheeky Cherry. Dogs and children are welcomed. There is a tiny parking area. But be careful not to run over anybody in the courtyard. A really good pub that is worth seeking out.

Brilliant pub, fantastic beer. Great staff, good prices. Can't ask for more in a pub. A fantastical selection of beers. Including their own brew. Also good for wine drinkers. Good selection. Clientele tends to be 40+ (Like me). Just go! You won't regret it!

Visited for the first time in 30 years on 5th August, as back on a rare trip to the area. What an absolute gem! Fantastic, well kept, and amazingly good value beers, in a building that oozes atmosphere and attention to detail in a very tradiotnal manner, entirely in keeping with the locality. The fact the pub has its own micro brewery producing excellent ales (in particular a very fine mild) was a real bonus and treat. I really hope this pub continues to flourish, it deserves to.

Nice little place with plenty of real ales and sam smiths on. Not too expensive and like stepping back in time, even got on old motorbike in the passage entrance! Own brewery on the go and as the last revue says its �2 a pint, cant be bad, lets hope it doesnt get the food and wine bug and get spoilt. Well worth a visit.

Re-visited on Saturday to find the pub busy at 6pm. They have started brewing their own beer now- "Bitter and Twisted" which is very good and currently �2 a pint!! Worth going out of your way to check out this dream of a pub for real ale fans, you will not be disappointed.

Went in November last year and have to say was really impressed.Had Theakstons, Wold top and a Hambleton beer on. Tried all Three (My Mrs Driving- god love her) all very good I have to say, roaring Fire and the place was more or less full. Would highly recommend if you are in the vicinity.

Nice local in a lovely village for walks - eponymous brewery just closed but Theakstons was decent

Good pub, nice for a walk to. Got a good log fire and good ale.
