Off the beaten track, this is a nice quiet pub---on Saturday evenings anyway. And three cheers---either they don't play "music" or their PA system wasn't working! The beer selection is not huge but enough to satisfy most people; they had Sambrook Pumphouse when I was there and very good too.

I thought I'd been to all the pubs in Mayfair but stumbled across this small establishment tucked away at the back of the Savile Row police station although the didn't appear to be too many Met officers inside.
It is a small corner bar with mainly red decor and a small number of tables - maybe 8 or 9 in all. There are also some tables outside on the footpath but the temperature prevented outside drinking on my visit (well except for the poor smokers). The overall envionment is a comfortable one and as a few others below have noted the score here seems artificially low.
Four pumps and they are having a bit of a Real Ale festival so the offerings were quite unusual - Brewers Choice Hop Monkey, Hopback Brewery HOP, Wolf Brewery Howler and Tring Devils Dyke. I had the Hop Monkey which was in good condition. The sign outside sugggested these will rotate so if you are in the area and want to try something different it might be worth dropping in.
Another nice backstreet Mayfair pub .

I Visited early afternoon and it wasnt so busy and i quite liked it, they had on Sam Brookes Junction which i was eager to try and i liked it. Decent pub, i didnt think it was tottally over priced for Mayfair.

Good old proper pub which serves decent beer and fairly nice food. No idea why the rating is so low - it certainly doesn't deserve to be.

Small pub with a few real ales including Sambrook's Junction and Hogsback Autumn. Surprised it has such a low rating on here.

Not often used by coppers - they tend to go to better pubs in Mayfair and ones that are not too close to the station! Mostly full of suits and it gets so packed that everyone is nose to elbow whilst trying to enjoy a pint. The upstairs is ok for a small private function but like the other comments say, there are better places to drink nearby.

Completely over priced. Only noteable benefit is watching the action in the police station over the road.Try Millugans just down the road.

Could have been quite pleasant. Sitting at the bar, chatting to my mate. Then the idiot landlord decided that he'd put the stereo on at full volume. Speakers resting on bar, so impossible to continue conversation. And the music sounded like the aural equivalent of brain damage.

Full of coppers, full of grey suited accountants and surveyors. Expensive and badly kept beers, too smokey. Very little atmosphere.
