very disappointed that the new owners of the robin hood do not seem very friendly. In fact the new landlady was very rude. The beer was very flat and the choices were very limted. Even the spirts was very limted in choice. The soft drinks were very expensive, 1.80 for a can of coke. The overall of the pub wasn't very clean, the glass washer smelt very bad and the toilets was blocked.

I finally managed to visit this pub in the daytime, and can confirm that it is open under new management. The building is interesting, in that it is a circa-1930s rebuild of a much earlier pub. Old photographs of the original building are displayed within the pub, along with some Titanic memorabilia (Captain Smith's daughter lived near Witney). No real ale.

Not entirely clear if the Robin Hood is open or closed - I walked down there twice, and on both occasions, it seemed to be shut-up.

Proper pub, beer and pies and a sports bar.....and a great garden.

Fairly basic estate pub, large games room, over lit main bar area. GK House that was only serving IPA on my visit, but St Edmunds was to to be put on soon. Not unpleasant, but extremely dull.

Feels a little bit like an estate pub, being next door to a former council estate. It is shut during the day.
