La Reserve, Boldmere Gateback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
As noted before this is now a Miller & Carter. Fairly typical brand pub with the emphasis on food. That said, there is a reasonable size lounge for drinkers. UBU Purity and Doom Bar available on my visit, plus Pilsner Urqueli. 6/10.

It's a Miller & Carter chain pub, plus it's in Sutton, so it's a bit souless, up-itself food pub, but having said that, the beer was OK and the food good. Not exceptional, but not bad either.

Been in tweice including last night, and around June this year. Very poncey and the beer is not much to shout about. Ok for a quiet night out, but so is everywhere else these days in the week.
All you can say is that it is a decent setting near to Sutton Park.

The new American Dinner lay out is lovely and the bar area is great to have a quiet drink.
Service is good there however Sutton is crying out for a great steak house but this isnt it.
The food is over priced for what you get, I had very greasy ribs, with a small portion of chips and some coleslaw.
Deserts are all around 5 for next to nothing. Like the look shame about the food.

Now it belongs to millar & Clarke this is lovely for any occasion, a quiet romantic meal for 2 or a family occasion, the steaks are always cooked as requested - my hubby likes blue which is difficult to get right, we are in there at least once if not twice a month with varying amounts of family and friends and i cant recommend it highly enough, the staff are friendly and helpful, and if you are lucky enough to get a lake view table its just lke being on a ship - superb.
