Sunday lunchtime visit so didn't see any casual drinkers and not sure it is that type of place anyway. We enjoyed our food very much (although the beef was too well-cooked for my liking) and it's worth signing up for a Norfolk Passport to get a 10% discount. Adnams Bitter and Broadside on sale as well as the house Wolf's Edgefield Old Spot, Woodfordes Wherry and Moon Gazer Gold IPA. Not cheap at either £4.20 or £4.50 a pint (depending on your choice) but I doubt anyone comes here for a session. The beer was more in the "decent" category than exceptional.

Went to this place on the Good Beer Guide recommendation. Beer ok but my safe choice of fish and chips became a case of find the Haddock amongst the batter ! As previously mentioned its really a gastro pub and not a very good one at that. Avoid.

Some consistently tasty food, and especially competent vegetarian cooking. Quite keenly priced too for the quality. Service is strong and the pub has a really pleasant atmosphere. Ale was sadly average though - tried Southwold and Wherry, and neither overimpressed. Seems to have previously been called The Three Pigs, but looks like it has been rebranded to stress the victuals.

Food presented well, but badly cooked, using what appeared to be frozen & reheated meat that had been through a slicing machine. The rest of the meal was no better. Beer was expensive, limited in range, and of indifferent quality. I'm left wondering what's happened to this place- It's certainly not the Three Pigs of even a year ago, and is miles away from the excellent restaurant of two or three years back.

Had a lovely relaxed late Sunday lunch here yesterday. The food was excellent and reasonably good value for money and the service was very good.

The best thing was that food is served all day on Sunday which means that there is no mad 2:30pm rush to order. That makes for a far more chilled out experience.

Sadly I was driving so couldn't sample the beers but will return with a different designated driver to give it a proper go.

I thought The Pigs was a superb experience, possibly the best (gastro) pub I have ever visited. It wasn't particularly expensive for the sheer quality of the food on offer and the beer (Adnams, Woodforde's) was kept and present well. The 'Three Pigs' signature dish of pork belly, black pudding and smoky bacon beans sounds simplistic, but proved to be delightful. The thyme-roasted chicken was comparably good.

It is best to visit on a Sunday, to take advantage of the notorious Pudding Club offering (5.95 for as many portions from the pudding table as you wish, providing you clear your plate). I nearly had to be stretchered out of the place after my fifth plate of queen of puddings on a bed of superlative chocolate brownies. Make sure you pick up one of the Pudding Club t-shirts (sporting the logo 'real men don't eat sorbet!').

Not keen. Is more of a restaurant than a pub and was dead quiet when we were in there so you felt like you couldn't talk above a whisper without everyone listening to your conversation

Went there last night for dinner and a few beers. The building itself looks wonderful and the beer was very well kept, the Pigs brew itself was particularly fine.

We had a great meal although we didn't sample much of the menu as we all chose the same main course, the belly pork which was fabulous. The idea of tapas style dishes is a good one and 4 of these between 3 of us was a substantial starter.

Trying to find something to fault but am struggling to think of anything. I don't echo the comments about prices as I think the food and drink was very reasonably priced. However I'm used to Surrey prices so may have a slightly skewed base point. I really think that 11 for a main course or 10 for three starters is reasonable. The beer at 3 a pint was maybe on the pricey side but I'd rather pay more for something that good than less for a far inferior pint.

Very friendly and busy pub with welcoming bar staff. Would very happily go there many times again.

The Byfords curse continues.

An overblown sense of it's own greatness whereas in truth averageness rules...

Good ales, but very pricey. Excellent food. More of a restaurant than a pub.
