Agree with the last two posters: not at all bad as 'spoons go. Decent pint of Bays, and a good one of Jail Ale. Service much better than most. Will certainly go again (unfortunately the wife likes 'spoons).

no complaints about this Spoons, used it over the Easter week-end this year, good beer and spirit range good service and decent food, well run compared to some of there other establishments

Not too bad of a place if you can get a good seat. Always found the service ok too.
7/10

A rather dreary Wetherspoons pub totally lacking in atmosphere. Four pumps dispensing ales from Brains, Titanic, Everards and Available Soon. The Everards beer Whakatu was fairly bland but the Brains Dark was quite nice. The barmaid who served me was utterly charmless. Some Spoons pubs have an air of sadness about them and this pub is one of them. I won't be coming back.

Visited Brixham for the 1st time last week. The pub, staff, beer and food were all top-notch.

Always go in here when im in Brixham, staff friendly enough and real ales well kept.

had a good evening in their early october had a good pint of abbott and couple of local ale which i kind remember the name of but was stronger and cheaper than abbott.the pub was only half full and it was easy to get served and would go again if i was in the area

Last time we visited this pub (summer 08) there was a good selection of well kept cask ales, probably the best in brixham, and the usual wetherspoons food. Well worth a visit.

called again wilst on a holiday visit. had a meal this time [lunch]. usual wetherspoon good value and fair quality. four nice cask ales on. nice bar and friendly staff.
|
Standard Wetherspoons pub, hidden in an edge-of-town-centre location where it must be missed by many tourists, which would be okay if it weren't for the uncouth locals!
|
Wetherspoon inn. In the town, and off the sea front. Nice, clean open-fronted building. Only stayed for a coffee in the day. Food looked ok. Standard wetherspoon menu.
